PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT AND COUNSELLING – GUIDANCE AND CONSULTATIONS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS IN DEALING WITH LIFE’S CHALLENGES:

  • depressive and other distressing moods and emotional states,
  • problems in interpersonal relationships (marriage, partnership, relationships with family, friends or colleagues);
  • feelings of inferiority and low self-esteem;
  • fears, phobias and anxieties;
  • difficulties caused by excessive stress;
  • reduced performance and lack energy (affecting work, education or sexuality);
  • agitation, irritability and aggression;
  • difficult life situations (e.g. loss of partner; death of a significant other; illness; loss of one’s home; unemployment; domestic violence);
  • challenging dilemmas and important life decisions (changing studies, career, partner?; relocating?)
  • mourning, grief and bereavement;
  • physical difficulties with no obvious physical cause (pain, sleeping disorders and other psychosomatic difficulties);

AREAS THAT I DO NO TREAT:

I do not specialize in all areas, and the following are outside the scope of my practice:

  • eating disorders (e.g., bulimia, anorexia, binge eating, compulsive overeating)
  • substance addictions (e.g., drugs, alcohol, smoking, emotional eating)
  • behavioral addictions (e.g., internet, mobile ph., social networks, phone calls, electronic communication, hazard, shopaholsim)
  • developmental disorders (e.g., Autism, Asperger syndrome)
  • organic disorders (e.g., dementia, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease)

Legal and Professional Notice

I develop my psychotherapeutic practice in an international context.

In Austria, I provide psychotherapy under the license of Sigmund Freud University and the Psychoanalytisches Seminar Innsbruck (PSI), and I am registered in the list of psychotherapists maintained by the Österreichischer Bundesverband für Psychotherapie (ÖBVP). My work fully complies with the Austrian Psychotherapy Act, BGBl. Nr. 361/1990, and I am insured according to Austrian legal requirements.

In Slovakia, I operate within the scope permitted by § 2(2) of Act No. 242/2025 Coll. on the Provision of Psychological Services – offering professional consultations, psychodynamic counselling, guidance, and support for personal development. These meetings provide space for working with challenging life situations, relationships, and emotions, and are conducted in line with the professional and ethical standards of psychotherapy as well as European Association for Psychotherapy, of which I am also a member. They draw on my international experience from my research and clinical practice in Austria, ensuring continuity and high quality of care.
